Children's F.E.A.T. continues to help numerous children with special needs to increase balance, mobility, speech and social and cognitive skills while fostering self-esteem, emotional growth, confidence and trust. To be able to continue to serve children with special needs we need your help.
Here some ways how you can help us:
Monetary contributions:
Children's F.E.A.T. is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
The organization does not receive any State or Federal funding, relying instead on the generosity of the community.
The cost per student per session is approximately $60. Through the private donations of parents, relatives or friends of our clients, about one third of the costs are covered.

Sponsorship opportunities include:
Shooing of one horse for one month: $100
Food for one horse for one month: $200
Sponsor one child for one year: $1500
Sponsor one horse for one year: $5000

Donation of equipment:
We are always in need of gently used saddles, bridles, bits or other horse equipment.
Currently our wish list includes but is not limited to:
One non-slip western pad, one mounting block appropriate for our children (maybe you are able to build one) and a horse trailer (some of our children are ready to show their skills to the world so it would be great to see them going to horseshows.)
We are always thankful for food coupons and medical equipment.
Donation of a horse:
If you want to donate a horse to our program please contact the program director. Currently we are looking for a quiet pony and/or a miniature horse.
Volunteer:
To successfully run the program we need YOU. Please contact us if you can devote time to assist with classes as a HORSE LEADER or a SIDE WALKER, organize fundraising events, exercise the horses or help to maintain the barn.
